Director/Choreographer Tricia Brouk creates unique dance/theater from what could be considered the mundane. She has created a piece called "The Shower, The Dressing, The Date" that is a highly choreographed pantomime of the daily dance of the woman. She also created a piece called "Sweet Buns" where are she does for 3 minutes is eat a hamburger. Well, not exactly. Tricia Brouk creates human work that is beautiful, flawed, and real life.
Called a "Lucy Ricardo - Charlie Chaplin hybrid by Time Out NY, Hilary Chaplain is a physical comedian whose work crosses the boundaries between clown, puppetry, and physical comedy. She is an actress, a teacher, a hospital clown and a coach who has toured internationally with her award winning solo work.
Mark is writer and performer of his own one-man show Wing-Man, heading to Off-Broadway. Wing-Man is about Mark's search for true love and a date through the latest social media, without one word spoken -- showing us how to talk less and lust more. Mark has appeared in major feature films, including Julie & Julia with Meryl Streep; on television, Late Show w/David Letterman, Late Night w/Conan O’Brien and was featured in the PBS mini series CIRCUS! Michael Karas is New York City's theatrical juggler. Approaching this ancient circus art from a theatrical background, Michael uses clowning, puppetry, storytelling, and music to create juggling performances that are distinct and unforgettable.
Rachel Klein (Director and Choreographer) coined "Mistress of the Macabre" (Flavorpill) recently directed the Off-Broadway hit Around the World in 80 Days ("Endlessly clever direction"--the NY Post). Clowns Ex Machina is a troupe of all women clowns creating gleeful theatre together. Zara Aina is a group of theatre artists that offers children in Madagascar the tools to succeed as students and story tellers by delivering school supplies to their villages and by producing their original works of theatre. By partnering with Akany Fitahiana, Zara Aina brings street children of Antananarivo together with an international coalition of theatre professionals to create an original piece of physical theatre based in Malagasy folktales.
